Make it Personal: Monogram Flags, Mats, and Door Décor

There's no denying the popularity of monogram across the entire retail landscape, and monograms are an easy way to make an item uniquely personal and create a feeling of ownership and pride. To help retailers capture this national trend, we offer a several opportunities to offer shoppers the chance to make their mark outside their homes. After all, we’ve long thought of flags and related products as The Greeting Card of Your Home™.

Monogram has been a key part of Evergreen Flag for years, and to support our network of independent retailers, we’re committed to continue offering new wholesale monogram selections into the future. Here are some of our current options.

Monogram Flags

Our selection of monogram flags includes our classic black and white, fun polka-dot, and seasonal holiday designs. For spring 2019, we have a new colorful floral monogram flag that will have on-trend, broad appeal. We see this look everywhere from mass retailers to Pinterest pages. Our new flag is a printed design, and even offer a matching Sassafras mat insert to coordinate the look!

Monogram Door Decor

When we introduced our outdoor-safe Warm Welcome hanging door décor category back in 2015, we made sure to include monogram designs in the mix. As a follow-up to our long-running classic design, we have a new monogram door décor design for 2019. The traditional style, with its black and neutral color scheme, will appeal to lots of shoppers, and the scalloped round shape makes it reminiscent of traditional monogram seals. Like with our floral monogram flag, we also offer a monogram Sassafras floor mat insert that matches our new door décor design.

Letter Perfect

As an extension of monogram, our Letter Perfect concept offers an easy way for consumers to transform any flag or door décor into a personal expression. We offer pin-on attachments in both a 5-inch size for garden flags and a 10-inch size for house flags. The attachments are made of outdoor-safe felt and each includes 2 pins to keep them secure. In addition to personalizing flags, our Letter Perfect attachments can also work perfectly on most of our door décor. We offer several styles in door décor and flags that are specially designed with open areas where these DIY monogram letters can be placed.

 

Monogram Door Mats

In addition to the monogram Sassafras doormats mentioned above, we also recently introduced a new monogram coir mat. We’ve carried monogram coir mats in our product line for almost 10 years, and it’s become a proven seller for our retailers. The natural coir fibers (made from coconut husks) are very durable and effective at cleaning shoes, and the neutral color helps these mats look great on any doorstep. Our latest design includes an embossed pattern and bold, crisp, printed lettering.

Merchandising

To help independent retailers succeed with monogram flags, we recommend merchandising them using our Flag Shop display planogram to build an in-store destination. We've seen how mass retailers stack out monogram at prominent high-traffic locations like endcaps, and we wanted to make sure our retailers had the same opportunity. Another way to accomplish this is with our free-standing mobile displays that can serve as a monogram shopping station in stores.
