The Year-Round Rainwear Collection for Every Retailer

Our B. Boutique brand of ladies’ fashion accessories and personal gifts includes a variety of apparel in trend-right colors and styles, across a range of seasons from summer beach days to the chilly winter months. We also offer apparel and accessories for special year-round situations, like our rainwear collection. Even if it only rains a few inches each year in your area, rainwear can be an easy sell. Whether it’s for where they currently live, for travel, or as a gift, everyone has and buys rain gear.

Because of its universal appeal, we’ve seen this group of products become very successful for many of our independent retailers, so we wanted to recap what we offer in rain-related accessories.

Umbrellas

 

Umbrellas are probably the first thing people think of when it comes to staying dry during rainy days. Our umbrella manufacturer is one of the best in the business, so rest assured that ours are sturdy designs which offer consumers a lot of bang for their buck.

Our inverted umbrella opens and closes in the opposite direction of a traditional umbrella, which which makes it easier to stay dry while moving in and out of your vehicle. The C-shaped handle lets you free up a hand, as you rest the umbrella on your arm (whether open or closed), and the design also lets the umbrella stand up for easy drying. Our inverted umbrellas are also decorated with colors and patterns that coordinate with our rain coats and ponchos (see below for more info).

We also offer a compact umbrella which include an automatic open and close feature to make them easy to use. Our newest styles include reflective trims around the edges to make them more visible at night, and some of our compact umbrellas even include an LED flashlight in the base of the handle. Rain Coats

For when an umbrella alone just won’t cut it, we also offer rain coats. Some of our ladies’ rain coats are made in a classic pea coat style. They're of course water-repellent, and come with a removable hood and a separate carrying bag. For those who need a bit more function, we also have another style of rain coat that has a waterproof finish, along with other features like a waterproof zipper, cinch-cord hem, elastic cuffs, and zippered pockets for the ultimate in rain coat functionality! And, these designs are now packable into the back pocket. 

Ponchos

Our rain ponchos are our original entry into the rainwear market. They’re each made of waterproof material, and each one is reversible, for two looks in one! Our styles include various solids, geometrics, and patterns, including stripes, houndstooth, and camo, and the one-size-fits-most design makes shopping easy. The entire poncho even folds up into the front pocket to make it easy for carrying! (See our video on how to do this.)

To round out our assortment, we even include several fun poncho and umbrella designs for kids, including both boys and girls. The function on these pieces is simplified from our women’s designs to make them more kid-friendly.

Merchandising

In addition to offering proven sellers at retail, we also provide retailers with ways to display our products effectively in their stores. Our combination of ponchos, rain coats, and umbrellas can all be merchandised as a one-stop shop using our b. Boutique display which has plenty of room to make a strong statement. It has a metal frame as well as locking casters for mobility. Retailers with less floor space have shared with us that the coat rack display from our Cape Craftsmen furniture line also works really well.
