Pillows & Rugs: The Softer Side of Home Decor
Our Cape Craftsmen brand has become known primarily for its core products of furniture and wall decor. To round out the line with a softer element, we now offer a range of wholesale accent pillows as well as versatile rugs and other floor coverings. And since a large part of our collection of wholesale rugs and pillows is suitable for use in outdoor settings, they also help retailers provide their shoppers with ways to spruce up outdoor living environments which are becoming more and more popular.
Floor Rugs
Our assortment of floor coverings started with a selection of hand-hooked rugs. Each one is 42” by 24” and three-eighths of an inch thick. The hooked designs are made with polypropylene material for both durability and softness, they’re made to resist fading and mildew, so they can be used either indoors or outdoors.
We expanded our selection of floor coverings for even greater indoor/outdoor versatility with several large designs made of woven polypropylene. Each of these is 4’ by 6’ and easy to clean by sweeping or hosing them off. They’re also lightweight, and the flat design easily rolls up for storage.
In our latest release, we expanded our rugs even further with two new styles, both made of mildew-resistant PET material, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. We offer a 2’ by 3’ scatter rug for either indoors or out that’s yard-dyed and hand-woven. We also offer an amazing 4’ by 6’ indoor/outdoor size with a design that digitally printed. These are made of the same mildew-resistant PET fibers under the same fair trade conditions. But instead of being yarn-dyed, these have the pattern digitally printed onto the rug in a way that gives them a bit of a weathered or antiqued finish. These have a high-end appearance, Thy feel really nice under foot, and can also be used outside on the patio.
Accent Pillows
Our Cape Craftsmen line has offered indoor accent pillows in a variety of sizes for a number of years. Many include special embroidery treatments or other embellishments to give each one a special look. We’ve recently expanded into outdoor accent pillows that make great companion pieces for our metal benches. Similar to our hooked rugs, the designs on these pillows are made with polypropylene material, and each one has a poly-canvas backing. The cover has a zipper so you can remove it for cleaning. Each of these pillows is made to resist fading and mildew, so they can be used either indoors or outdoors. The look and feel is very similar to our hooked rugs, and many of the designs match for a coordinated statement.
