Lori Siebert’s Home Accents Collections from Cape Craftsmen: Birds & Blooms and Objects of Affection

Designer Lori Siebert has collected her whole life. Finding inspiration from antiques, old quilts, pieces of metal and wood, or an off-beat piece of folk art, she experiments with unusual marriages of materials to bring fabulous gallery-like objects to life. With insatiable child-like curiosity and whimsical design sense, Lori’s 15-year success in gift, paper and craft licensing has poised her to be ready with this first launch of a wonderful eclectic home decor line called “At Home with Lori Siebert.”

The first of these collections is “Birds & Blooms”—a wonderful opportunity for buyers to expand their successes with Lori’s painted art into the home accents area. Lori herself says,

“Flowers and birds are two of my favorite things to draw or paint. I also love to collect vintage flower pins. This collection just grew naturally out of these favorite things. The central images are layered with silhouettes of wild flowers and scrolls, giving the pieces a mixture of classic and organic. Several of the pieces incorporate the flower pins that I hunted for at a flea market on a sunny Sunday afternoon. This collection was truly a labor of lo ve.”

Highlights of “Birds & Blooms” include our sculpture sitabouts of birds (see above) decorated with floral elements and our sculpted shoe bookends (again accented with a floral motif).

The second of Lori Siebert’s new collections, “Objects of Affection,” mixes and matches well. It displays a look of dimension, depth, and warmth through found objects assembled in 3-dimensional one-of-a-kind ways. This collection also communicates a fond sense of intimate nostalgia, as a reminder of things past. Our painted resin “Home” wall décor (see below) takes the collage effect of this collection and adds an irresistable personalized touch, with a removable sentiment card that can be used to insert a welcome to a couple’s first home.

With Lori Siebert’s eclectic style of art, you can give any living area a fresh, colorful approach and its own unique personality.
