At Evergreen, sometimes we find ourselves unable to fit all the product we’d like into a catalog. Other times we simply don’t want to overwhelm buyers with too much new product when they may not be ready for it, and choose to save something to look forward to later. Then we may run across late-breaking new concepts and want to share them as soon as we can. With that, we recently released our Summer 2011 supplement catalog for Evergreen Flag & Garden. Here are some key highlights that you’ll not want to miss…

“Fireside” Fire Pots
Perhaps the hottest thing (literally) in our Garden department is the brand new Fireside collection. These hand-glazed ceramic fire burners are perfect for lighting an evening outdoor get-together. They use fire gel (which we sell separately), eliminating the mess of smoke or ash. Each outdoor fire pot includes a reservoir for the gel and a metal snuffer for safe extinguishing. Some of them also double as fountains, and include an electric pump for water circulation.

Gazing Balls with Solar Stands
These days, everyone loves clean, renewable energy. So we’ve expanded our offering in solar garden lighting (and brought back a old Evergreen favorite) with these new gazing balls. The balls themselves are made of mosaic-patterned glass in a variety of colors and patterns. They include a base that allows mounting on our painted metal solar stand. The stand includes a solar panel, a rechargeable battery, and an LED light that glows at night from within the ball, illuminating the beautiful character of the glass.

Wind Spirit Flags
Reminiscent of Native American designs commonly found in the southwestern U.S., this new collection of innovative flags and banners feature bright-colored fabric shapes for a stained-glass look. Some include metallic sections, and all of them incorporate streamers that create a sense of motion in the wind. They all fit onto our standard flag pole and banner pole hardware.


Patriotic Flags & Banners
We think you’ll agree that Patriotic décor is always a strong seller. With the 10th anniversary of the September 11 tragedy approaching next year, we expect demand to be as strong as ever for displays of patriotism.
