New Creative Enterprises has become something of a sister brand to our Evergreen Garden product line. New Creative takes the combination of function and form a step further, with greater attention to the beauty of each piece and how it fits into its respective collection.

Thoughout the New Creative Fall-Holiday 2011 catalog, you will find lots of pieces that mix materials of both resin and metal. This combined construction adds dimension, depth, and detail—not to mention added perceived craftsmanship and value—to many of these items. In some cases, we’ve even finished resin to look like metal or wood to add texture and visual appeal.

The newest catalog shows just fall and winter designs, making for a simpler and easier shopping experience. It’s also a collection-oriented line (compared to the category-driven product of Evergreen Garden). If you haven’t yet seen what we have to offer, below is a short summary of highlights that will hopefully whet your appetite for more.


Christmas Time
We’ve incorporated emphasis on the literal theme of “time,” with a repeated clock motif mixed with birds and their houses. The traditional red and green colors provide a familiar holiday feel, without a traditional religious emphasis. We've also incorporated common holiday sayings and phrases to help get anyone into the holiday spirit.

Ice Licorice
This entirely new collection takes a fun and whimsical style, with an energetic bright green color and characters (snowmen and reindeer) that will make you smile. Indulge your holiday sweet tooth with metal painted creations, including wall hangings, snow guages and more.

Nativities / Angels
For the more religious-oriented buyers, we’re offering a new traditionally-styled nativity, painted in full color to meet customer demand. The single-piece nativity statuary is joined by a coordinating wall hanging and post statuary, all cast in durable resin.

We’ve also expanded our Wish Givers angels collection, including some with wording and some without, as well as oval plaques in matching designs.

Holiday Lights
While this is a small collection, we hope these pieces will make a big impact with their fun sculptings of Santa and snowmen and their use of solar-powered lighting. Let the sun charge the included solar panel and batteries during the day, then they emit a warm holiday glow at night.

Glass Bling
Found in both Winter and Fall collections, our new “glass bling” items are made of fused colored glass with metal accents, in both winter and fall designs with familiar and popular motifs, such as sunflowers, pumpkins, snowmen, and Christmas trees.

Garden Gate
With its bird and floral motifs in muted rustic tones, our entirely new Garden Gate collection is full of natural beauty and will integrate easily into any everyday garden setting. From lofty leaves to flying feathers, these pieces combine both stone and metal appearances in items such as a windchime, a garden trellis, bird bath, and more.

Building on the Best: Fall-Winter 2011 Garden catalog overview

“Decorative and functional” is still the name of the game in the Evergreen Garden product line. For our most recent release of seasonal fall- and winter-related goods, it’s been our aim to build on core strengths and continue the momentum of previous good sellers.

When browsing this relatively small book, you’ll notice that while still category-driven, Fall-Holiday tends to be more oriented by theme, due to the more specific seasonal appeal. Among the 150 new items found in the recent release of our Fall-Holiday 2011 catalog, we wanted to call your attention to some key highlights below.



Solar Lighting
Throughout the book, you’ll find a number of new items that are lit with solar energy. We’ve expanded our solar garden offering into bird bath stands, holiday stakes, mosaic glass stakes and lanterns, even carved resin pumpkins! All our solar items include solar panels and rechargeable batteries.


Outdoor Lighting
Also in the outdoor lighting department, we’ve introduced new items such as mosaic glass lanterns that use conventional lantern oil, additional Fireside pots (after the huge positive response from our last release), and special seasonal items like our new metal pumpkin lantern.


Glass Bird Baths
If you haven’t seen the retail selling power of our glass bird baths, don’t wait any longer. We’ve just introduced many new designs, including beautiful new fall patterns and colors with reds, oranges, and greens. The photos simply don’t do justice to the vibrant colors! Be sure to see out mosaic glass bird baths for a fresh new approach—including crushed glass, mosaic tiled, and painted glass for a stained glass look. Remember your customers can always enjoy these indoors during colder months as table centerpieces with candles for a lovely, warm holiday feel.


Bird Feeders
For bird lovers, we’ve also expanded our selection of bird feeders. See our new ceramic hanging feeders with unique in-house designs and glazed finishes. There are also new fruit and suet feeders with metal mesh to hold whatever treats you decide to leave for your feathered friends. We’re also working to integrate feeders with other product, such as our new weathered-look metal feeders with a hook to hang a suncatcher or similar item.


Pumpkin Wear
For the spooky side of the season, you’ll love our newest Pumpkin Wear! In addition to glowing the dark, these newest pieces also have redesigned attachments that are safer and more compactly packaged. (The décor piece hangs from nail that goes into a pumpkin insert, instead of using an attached  spike on the back.) Our new metal spider pumpkin holders are also a fun way to display pumpkins for Halloween.


New Categories

Alongside all these expansions, we’re showing a few new categories you’ll want to notice and plan for…

Acrylic Thermometers
First is our new acrylic thermometers, with attached suction cups and clear plastic to allow the best outdoor visibility, and packaged in a gift box with clear acetate lid.


Multipurpose Garden Stands
Second is our new multipurpose garden stands—some with glass accents, all measuring around 5 feet high and all with unique, year-round designs—that are intended for windchimes and other hanging pieces.

Meet the Class of 2011: an overview of our Collegiate catalog

Our 2011 Collegiate product catalog is our biggest one ever, with more items in one place than we’ve ever had before. As an annual release, we work hard months in advance to prepare new collegiate product through the stages of planning, licensing, design, and production. This year, in order to offer our customers a more complete selection, we’ve kept nearly everything from last year and added lots of new items and schools to the mix.

One of our goals for this year is round out the “lifestyle” look in Collegiate product. Many new items cross over into more gameday entertaining, whether indoor parties or tailgate events. We hope that our newest product mix will help create and demonstrate a complete statement of school spirit both indoors and out. We have also added some schools in our most popular categories of applique flags and garden gnomes.

We often get requests to add certain items to a school we already license. Decisions to expand our collegiate line are often made based on flag sales. So if you want to get more items in your school, sell more flags!

Welcome the New Class!

With the new catalog, we are proud to introduce several new items into our mix of Collegiate product:

Gnome Flag Stand Holder
This spirited statue includes a molded base to allow him to rise up out of grass or mulch, and the open hand includes strong magnets to attach to any of our garden flag stands. Pair this guy with our “Go Team” stand and coordinating flag for a complete statement of school spirit! These gnomes ship suitable for gifting in a white box with color label.


This gnome also slots in nicely—in terms of both size and price point—between our other 2 styles of collegiate sculptures: our standard garden gnome and mascot display statue.

Acrylic Thermometer
Alongside its introduction in the Fall-Holiday Garden catalog, these outdoor thermometers are also making their debut in our Collegiate line. The included suction cups attach to the outside of a window, and the clear plastic allows maximum outdoor visibility. These ship in a gift box with a clear acetate lid.

Weather Monitor
This unique functional accent stands easily with its swing-out rear easel. The digital display is lit at night with a blue LED and features a clock (with alarm, snooze and date), hygrometer, temperature (indoor and outdoor), and forecast (sunny or cloudy). Weather information is retrieved over radio waves. Two AAA batteries are required.

Glass Accent Table
A successful item from our Evergreen Garden line, these Collegiate tables follow the exact same formula (and the success of glass items in general): an embossed and painted round glass top in a painted metal frame. Great for porches, decks, and patios!

Glass Bird Bath
From overwhelming popularity in our garden catalog, we now offer these 18" glass basins in our Collegiate line. They're made of the same quality embossed glass with proper school logos and colors. Stands are sold separately, and we offer a full assortment of tall ground stands, shorter table-top stands, and display easels.

Etched Slate Stepping Stone
Also a successful category in our garden catalog, these circular garden stones combine the natural color of slate with a weathered finish for a subtle yet timeless and classy look.

Armchair Quarterback
With 2 spring-loaded clamps that secure it temporarily to the arm of any sofa or reliner, this wooden refreshment tray is perfect for anything you want to keep at hand on gameday: snacks, drinks, remotes, small plates, and more. Ships in a white box with color label suitable for gifting.

TV Trays
A longtime favorite in Evergreen’s Cape Craftsmen division, these wooden trays feature full color printed tops and a classic black finish. We’re offering these as a set of 4 with stand, since we’ve seen that this lends a higher perceived value than single trays.


Hooked Rug
This is a completely new piece type for Evergreen’s Cypress Home line. Very similar to the Jellybean rugs currently in the marketplace, these offer excellent quality and are the only licensed Collegiate hooked rugs at this time. Each one measures 18” x 32” and is made of polyester fiber with cotton backing.


Two more notes relating to our Collegiate product in general:

• Collegiate coir mats continue to be top sellers, so make sure you’re taking advantage of this trend in your stores.
• Don't forget napkins! Our napkin designs are cleaner and classier than any competitors. As consumable items, stock up for return customers. we also have a convenient counter spinner fixture to save you valuable floor space.
• We have heard your concerns about our Collegiate inflatable figures and have worked to address them. First, we have increased the fan motor power to help the figure inflate and stand up better. Second, we have updated the catalog with actual photos of the product (or least more accurate images). We want to stand behind the products we sell, so contact your territory manager or our customer service for any problems you may encounter.
• To make sure you have product when you need it, we recommend you pre-book your order up front. Don’t wait until the busy selling season when our stock may be low.
