Several new item assortments have “staked” our their claim in our newest catalog. We’ve extended our collection of garden stakes with new pieces full of color and charm. For example, note our richly colored glass flower stakes (at left), which are perfect for adding a splash of color to non-flowered areas, and with their smaller size, can be used with indoor planters. Our bright butterfly mini stakes are even smaller to allow use as plant picks. Frogs are one of the most popular garden friends, and our metal and glass frog stakes will jump right into place. Notice that all these items mentioned are offered in assortments of 4 to 6 designs, to help add variety to your inventory.
Our garden catalog owes a large part of its success to the overwhelming strength of our 18” glass bird baths in the market. This year, we’re keeping up the momentum with with new colors and new patterns to keep us ahead of the competition. You’ll notice bold colors and unique, in-house designs—all offered at the same price point as before.
We’ve also expanded our offering of smaller 11” bird baths on stakes, which ship KD with no additional hardware needed for display in a garden area. Some even have built-in solar panels and lights for extra enjoyment in the evening hours.
Nothing adds visual interest to a space like objects in motion. Both our Kinetic metal garden art and our new metal sprinklers do just that. Kinetic pieces spin, twirl, and sway with the breeze. Since their introduction last fall, you’ll now find several new kinetic pieces at smaller sizes (and smaller price points!) for a more comprehensive selection. All except the shortest kinetic pieces (under 30") are packed and shipped KD.
Based on the response we received to our EcoPots pallet program last year, we’ve introduced 3 new similar pallet programs with terracotta pots, glazed ceramic pots, and frosted glass pots. That’s a total of 4 different materials to enable buyers to choose between the ones that make most sense for their stores. Each designed around an easy assortment of suitable colors. Not just for garden centers, these pots can also be used by florists to accompany bouquet orders.
One current trend you might not be aware of is the interest in memory boxes. Those who wish to store cherished mementos, written messages, or other keepsakes from a dearly departed loved one—whether pet or person—can do using our new memory boxes. Made in both rounded and rectangular shapes from durable, long-lasting polyresin, they include a removable lid and are suitable for placement outdoors near a headstone or other burial site.
